Halliburton won't try to collect on those fraudulently charged meals

US energy and services group Halliburton, once run by Vice President Dick Cheney, has suspended $140 million in disputed invoices for meals served to US troops in Iraq and Kuwait.

"It is important to understand that this is not any sort of admission. As a responsible government contractor it is the right thing to do," said Halliburton subsidiary KBR president and chief executive Randy Harl.

And we all know that Halliburton is a responsible government contractor concerned about doing the right thing.

....but hey, do what you want....you will anyway.
