Regime change begins at home

It's been quite a while since I dealt the Regime Change cards.

So, here's today's draw:

New Press
Suit of Hearts: Department of Propaganda
Charles Krauthammer
Washington Post columnist

"The only people in the world who would
question whether or not we won in Iraq
are Upper West Side liberals."
Suit of Spades: Department of Imperialism
Donald Rumsfeld
Secretary of Defense

Although no evidence linked Iraq to 9/11,
Rumsfeld ordered up strike plans against Iraq,
according to aides' notes:
"Judge whether good enough hit
S.H. [Saddam Hussein] at same time.
Not only UBL [Usama bin Laden]."

"Go massive. Sweep it all up.
Things related and not."
--- Rumsfeld to aides on 9/11

That old queen Rumsfiend's remarks and the aides' notes are just another reminder that this administration came in with a vendetta against Hussein to execute. As if you needed a reminder.

I wonder if Chuck has since figured out we're still there.

(Thanks to Rich for the deck of cards.)
