As promised: follow-up on the sneaky judicial appointment

When I posted on Friday about Sneaky McSmirk's recess appointment of the ultra-conservative Judge Pryor to the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, I reported that these types of appointments are temporary, but I didn't know how temporary. I said I'd let you know if the information came to me.

It has.

TalkLeft quotes the NY Times:

The recess appointment will last only until sometime in the fall of 2005. At that point, Judge Pryor will need Senate confirmation. Given his record, even that brief term seems much too long.

....but hey, do what you want....you will anyway.
