Venezuela's Washington D.C. embassy invites Beltway media to learn the Venezuelan truth

Embassy is organizing a press conference by a group of five members of the Venezuelan Congress who are visiting the United States for a series of high-level meetings. All leading members of the legislative coalition that supports President Hugo Chavez Frias. National Assembly (AN) deputies Calixto Ortega, Nicolas Maduro, Eustoquio Contreras, Ismael Garcia and Cilia Flores are to speak and answer questions from the Beltway press on Wednesday (2/25) at 12:00 midday at the Venezuelan Embassy (1099 30th Street NW; Washington, D.C.) and will also discuss new evidence and allegations of the Bush 2 administration's efforts to unseat the President as well as US involvement in the 2002 coup d'etat against the Chavez Frias administration. An embassy advisory notes that the AN deputies will also be available for a limited number of individual interviews with journalists between 12:00 midday and 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 24. |
