Last fall Paul Bremer talked about dismantling the "dangerous socialist anachronism" that was the food distribution system in Iraq come January of this year. I haven't seen any more talk about that. I'm assuming someone with more sense put the kabosh on the idea. Or else between the time he made the statement and January, he himself came to his senses - at least on that account.
....but hey, do what you want....you will anyway.
