I am still getting messages through the YWA Yahoo accounts that there's a virus in the mail. Again, my sincere apologies if anyone is getting unsolicited, virus-laden emails from YWA.
Also, I am still not able to get any response from Yahoo. I've tried sending messages to the only two email addresses I have yet been able to come up with - one is an address to report bugs, and when I sent a message there, I got an automatic reply that I would have to check with other Yahoo departments whose URLs I was given, but there were no email addresses for any of them! If anybody has any hints about how to get some satisfaction from Yahoo on the issue, please let Nell (sidebar) know.
I guess this is a case of "what do you want for free?" I thought Yahoo would be better able to catch email viruses, considering the amount of business they do. And I'd shut down those accounts to avoid having any more emails going out (they're being sent automatically due to the virus), but Yahoo doesn't give you the option of shutting down accounts on demand. Which is stupid, but I've used Yahoo instead of Hotmail because I have some real gripes about Microsoft, and don't think much of their security apparatus either.
Hmmmmm.
What to do.
Oooops...I think I've found the way to delete the accounts.
Oooops...Never mind - it terminates only after 90 days.
Sheesh.
