And, in my magnanimity, I will share a rare bit of information that you have been dying to know all of your life.
Americanized French phrases:
May Day! is from the French m'aider (actually pronounced "may day" - it means "help me")
Tootaloo (come on, I know you've said it - or at least heard it) comes from the French A tout a l'heure, which loosely translated, means "see you later".
Now. Go to France. You're ready. And you're probably not welcome here any more either.
....but hey, do what you want....you will anyway.
