Prime Minister Ariel Sharon may seek to move settlers from the Gaza Strip to settlements in the West Bank under his plan for "unilateral disengagement" from the Palestinians, officials in his office said today. NY Times article
There you go. How's that going to answer? Move them from one part of Palestine to another?
Might have known there was a catch. He wasn't planning on moving them into Israel. I think he came up with that plan to move them out of Palestine when the heat was on regarding the bribery charges against him. And now that the police interrogation is over, and he hasn't been charged, he's twisted out of the promise with this move.
You were skeptical, too? Not fooled? Imagine that.
Personally, I don't see how Palestine can function well being split into those two realms, but that's where they are, and Sharon's move (if he even actually carries it out) is not an answer.
....but hey, do what you want....you will anyway.
