Well, of course it's not over till the fa.....oops.
Democratic presidential front-runner John Kerry rolled to dominating wins in Virginia and Tennessee on Tuesday, scoring a Southern sweep that knocked rival Wesley Clark out of the race and put the nomination within reach. article
And Clark is going to announce that he's pulling out.
I suspect that what this really tells us is that there are a whole lot of Democrats who will do whatever it takes to get rid of Double-shiste come November. I imagine there were a lot more of them who would prefer Clark or Edwards to the tofu-eating, birkenstock-wearing, whatever else all that drivel was, Kerry. But, they've bitten the bullet and decided to make a power drive to the goal. Which is removing Little Caligula and his band of fiends.
Like I've said, I have real problems with Kerry, but if we're not going to elect Kucinich (and we're not), the first step is to dethrone the Mad Hatter. And if it takes Kerry to do it, then so be it. After that, I suggest we get serious about restructuring our democracy into a democracy.
....but hey, do what you want....you will anyway.
