O'Reilly keeps his promise

Somewhere there's a website that counts how many days since O'Reilly said he'd apologize if it turned out there were no WMD. I guess the count can end today.

Popular conservative television news anchor Bill O'Reilly, usually an outspoken Bush loyalist, said on Tuesday he was now skeptical about the Bush administration and apologized to viewers for supporting prewar claims that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction.

"I was wrong. I am not pleased about it at all and I think all Americans should be concerned about this," O'Reilly said in an interview with ABC's "Good Morning America."

Can Double-bum be in trouble? If he is, we is.

I don't trust those Rovian folks. Not one bit. And I don't trust any of those insane war hounds. There's no doubt in my mind (but let's not get on that subject) that this group would create any kind of disaster to hold on to their power - and that includes one that cost American lives as well as foreign ones - it's all collateral damage.

The one hope I have that we won't be subjected to such an event is that the money behind the true power would probably be just as happy with Kerry as with Bush, and may be seeing Bush as a liability at this point, so they won't continue to prop him up.

Now we just wait and see what happens next, I suppose.

In the meantime, what is the justification for all the soldiers and all the innocent Iraqi and Afghani civilians that continue to die each day?

....hey, do what you want....you will anyway.
