FBI agents have questioned two men wanted for bombing diplomatic missions in the failed coup against Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez, decided they're not a terrorist threat to us, and let them go.
Venezuela's Washington embassy spokesman Andres Izarra told the Miami Herald reporter "they (Varela and Colina) might not be of interest to the FBI and they might not be of interest to US security ... but they are of interest to Venezuela ... these people are accused of major crimes ... bombing diplomatic installations is not a small thing!" "And you all also may remember that early on, I said if you hide a terrorist, if you feed a terrorist, if you provide comfort to a terrorist, you're just as guilty as the terrorist." -- George W. Bush 2/16/02
