Federal prosecutors withdrew a subpoena yesterday ordering Drake University to turn over a list of people involved in an antiwar forum in November, as well as subpoenas ordering four activists to testify before a grand jury. article
I don't think they dropped the subpoenas out of the goodness of their hearts. I have a webpage collecting links on civil rights abuses, on which there are recent links surrounding this issue. Citizens were challenging the subpoenas.
Don't roll over for these abuses.
....but hey, do what you want....you will anyway.
