The Big Black Bus

There'll be a kids' book.

And that's not all, apparently...

Karl Rove's American Crossroads group is planning to "make a star out of" the $1.1 million armored bus President Barack Obama is using to travel across the country by featuring it in attack ads ahead of the 2012 election.

Such an ad would undoubtedly be a bit awkward for the eventual Republican presidential nominee, who'd be using an identical $1.1 million Secret Service-owned bus on the campaign trail by the time American Crossroads said they'd run the ads next fall.

TPM

Okay, two points: 1) Since when did GOP ever care about anything but how they can spin the moment? They do not feel "awkward" about saying anything at any time, regardless of what they might have to deal with later. Where was this reporter during the Bush presidency? 2) No GOP candidate backed by Karl Rove is going to stoop to twaddling about on the highways in a fucking bus. I don’t care how much it cost.

But they do have a point of attack in that bus. Taxpayers are paying for it. President #Compromise is not on this tour officially as a campaign, even though that’s exactly what it is. No, he’s soaking the taxpayers for the cost of it by calling it “an administrative event.”

He deserves to be hoisted on it.

We shall see who gets thrown under this bus.

....and hey, do what you want....you will anyway.
