How on earth are they going to monitor all these tracking devices?

This Radio Frequency ID business where everything manufactured is going to be tagged so it can be tracked seems like something we maybe oughta think about a little longer before we jump into.

I believe they originally hyped it for marketing purposes, but of course it's raising concern due to possible probable civil liberties abuses.

Fallout Shelter News comments: " As part of a new, federally mandated tracking system, the three major U.S. automobile manufacturers plan to put RFID tags in every tire sold in the nation. The tags can be read on vehicles going as fast as 160 kilometers per hour from a distance of 4.5 meters." This is just flat out stupid. Innocent citizens will be tracked down like dogs while evil-doers will be swapping tires they bought for stolen ones.

Great! Maybe I won't have to buy new tires.

I don't know. The world has gone wacko while our technological abilities are far outstripping our intelligence and our emotional/spiritual/social evolution.

I think I said it before, but I'm gonna home brew and play my fiddle.

Or maybe this is where the new jobs Bush promised us are going to come from. Looking forward to competing with the deserting soldiers for a job watching radio blips on a computer screen.

...you do what you want....you will anyway.
