Support whistle blowers

But why do we have to wait 36 years?

Trying to make the best choices to guide our country in this world of secrecy and sealed, classified information that can only be reviewed a quarter century and more later is like trying to drive somewhere looking out the rear window.

A former Navy attorney who helped lead the military investigation of the 1967 Israeli attack on the USS Liberty that killed 34 American servicemen says former President Lyndon Johnson and his defense secretary, Robert McNamara, ordered that the inquiry conclude the incident was an accident...a case of 'mistaken identity' despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary. article

...Boston was senior legal counsel to the Navy's original 1967 review of the attack. He said in the sworn statement that he stayed silent for years because he's a military man, and "when orders come ... I follow them."

All you military men out there: That's how war crimes are carried out and continue. That's how holocausts happen.

YOU ARE NOT MACHINES.

Not yet, anyway, but if the Pentagon has its way, with the pills and other "improvements" they want to make on you, that may not be far off.

If you are not going to use your conscience, then donate it to someone who hasn't got one. Mail it to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, Washington, DC.

....but hey, do what you want....you will anyway.
