Rumsfiend's slog

I guess it all depends upon what the definition of "slog" is....

Nell passes on this wonderful comment about Rumsfiend's frantic antics from Bob:

From the American Heritage Dictionary:

slog (slog)
v. --slogged, --slogĂ‚·ging, --slogs. v. --intr.
To walk or progress with a slow, heavy pace; plod: slog across the swamp; slogged through both volumes.
To work diligently for long hours: slogged away at Latin. v. --tr.
To make (one's way) with a slow, heavy pace against resistance.
To strike with heavy blows.

n.
A long, exhausting progress, march, or hike: a student's weary slog through Cicero; a slog through miles of jungle.
Long, hard work: an 18-hour slog in the hay fields.

Since Rummy [in his memo] used it as a noun, I think only the last two definitions apply. He's lying again!

By the way, I was watching a little bit of the Jets-Eagles game on TV yesterday, and there's a nun in Philadelphia who looks EXACTLY like Donald Rumsfeld.

(Maybe it was him - I'm starting to be a little concerned about his mental condition.)

Thanks, Bob! Great sleuthing. Keep it up.

....but you know the routine....do what you want....you will anyway.
