When you write it, call it "the fall of the house of Bush"

Just something I heard once.

While I'm still waiting for Part II, there's an interesting analysis by Michael Ruppert (From the Wilderness) back in July on why it might not matter if when Bush does steal the next election.

Although I like to think that somewhere there really is an honest person of integrity who could take the position and turn us into the ideal that we have traditionally painted ourselves to be (in spite of all the evidence to the contrary), and while I can almost be tempted to think Denis Kucinich might be such a person, I don't really believe that even a 'good' president could possibly make enough changes. It's a nice little fantasy, though.

Anyway...election stuff is going to keep coming up. We're going to keep playing that game as if it weren't fixed. So let's remind ourselves from time to time of the candidates' qualifications. We should have looked at this last time around, but the past is past, so let's move on, as himself has admonished us, and have a look now at Bush's resume as provided at Bartcop. And this analysis of why blue collar workers support Bush.

Why are Dean's gubernatorial papers sealed?

Personally, I bought some home brewing equipment and a fiddle. I'm not entirely certain the Republic, or even the world, will last until November 2004, so I suggest we fasten our seat belts and don our AFDBs.

....but hey, do what you want....you will anyway.
