It's Hump Day in Marriage Protection Week

Federal Marriage Amendment. Yes? No? Do I want to talk about all the hypocrites in politics? Nah. Tiresome. Boring. Stupid. But, do I want to talk about whether they are going to dictate our own private relationships and ethics? Yeah. I think that's a big deal.

And, this fits in here, somehow, I'm sure: Cardinal Goofball says he's surprised at the backlash from his claim that condoms don't guard against the HIV virus. What I imagine they don't protect against is priestly sexual coercion of young boys, but I'm not going there.

Did you already know that it's Marriage Protection Week? Well, neither did I. Luckily, however, I do subscribe to Mark Morford's Morning Fix. "All contents, except the swearing and the random blasphemy, (tm) (c) 2003 SF Gate". Go sign up if you don't mind a little swearing and random blasphemy.

....but hey, do what you want....you will anyway.
