Hostage escapes

Well, that's the story so far. A Halliburton employee, Thomas Hamill, who was captured on April 9 in Iraq is free. More news to come later, I guess.

He is among seven Halliburton employees missing since April 9. The bodies of four of the workers have been found. Also kidnapped in the attack was a U.S. soldier, Pfc. Keith Maupin, who was seen alive days later in video footage aired on the Arab television station al-Jazeera.


Update:
BTW, the "insurgents" have kept their word: Hamill, the truck driver, was released unharmed.
