I'd read that a federal grand jury was to subpoena three journalists in the investigation of who leaked CIA operative Valerie Plame's name to idiot Robert Novak, but there were no names.
It appears now that Tim Russert of NBC's Meet the Press is one of them. NBC says it will fight the subpoena because Russert wasn't one of the reporters some scum in the WH leaked information to. If he didn't receive any information, why are they fighting the subpoena? I can see fighting the subpoena on the grounds of journalistic privilege or something - although I would think AssKKKroft's PATRIOT rules would surely except those grounds in a case involving national security interests, wouldn't they? But, if NBC is implying that they wouldn't fight the subpoena had Russert been privy to the leak, then I don't get their point.
....but hey, do what you want....you will anyway.
