WMD soon to be "discovered"? October Surprise?

From the POAC forum.

Here are our components: We have Bush And Cheney acting smug despite an apparant humiliation (no WMDs). They continue to claim "it's not over yet." They've sent a respected skeptic to step into Kay's shoes. Israel plants a rumor of buried Iraqi WMD in Lebanon. Israel is in the middle of a military "insertion" in Lebanon, including bulldozers. Israel, linked to forged provocations, happens to hold large quantities of WMDs. Bush seeks re-election despite initiating a pointless quagmire. Right wing Israelis seek Bush's re-election to continue a "war without end" against their foes.

We're all wondering what Bush's "October Surprise" will be, to raise his numbers just before the election. Could it be that he will be "vindicated" by a "discovery of Iraqi WMDs" in the Bekka Vally? We're starting to hear Don Rumsfeld making noises about going after Hezbolah in southern Lebanon. Is this the setup?

Don't put anything past them. They have to have something. I suppose this would be preferable to another domestic terrorist attack.

I'm a little skeptical about the planting of WMD since it seems like they might already have done that if that were the plan. But then again, this whole three ring circus has had some pretty appallingly blundered acts.

I have no comment about the following, but I'll throw them in here for fleshing:

CIA and DoD Attempted To Plant WMDs in Iraq — and Failed
Central Command associates 18 deaths so far (one today, three total in last three days) to this "convoy". WMD's?

There's an awful lot of extra strangeness going on these days as regards Israel. Sharon is under the microscope in a bribery deal. Israel has made a swap with Hizb'Allah of terrorists for hostages, a move that is viewed to "bolster Hizb'Allah's political standing in Lebanon". Hizb'Allah - the terrorist organization.

Scorecard, please.
