Taking the fight to the enemy

Billmon has a good point to make to Richard Armitage:
"I'm pretty convinced after this short visit ... that we will take this fight to the enemy," he said.
Armitage might want to think about what happened the last time administration officials started talking trash.

What the smeg kind of stupid line is that? Taking the fight to the enemy. As opposed to taking it to where?

I think the enemy is delivering it F.O.B and C.O.D, quite frankly, and saving us the trouble of having to take it anywhere.

Macho crapola. Talk about being full of it. How comforting that the adults are in charge. Middle aged men with arrested development should not be permitted to handle firearms or direct armies or countries.

Impeach.

And I don't know what to tell you about those commanders in the field quacking about teeth and claws and shows of force. Pray, I guess. Pray harder.

....but hey, do what you want....you will anyway.
