Legal Action Against War

This website helps file claims for war damges.

If you or someone close to you suffered loss or injury in the recent hostilities, you should make a claim to ALL THREE of the European Court of Human Rights, the Inter-American Court of Human Rights and the International Criminal Court.

There is time limit of six months from the time of the incident which caused you damage so, to preserve your right to possible compensation, you should communicate with each of these bodies. Write a letter or fax or e-mail or even (at minimum) a telephone call.

Alternatively, send an e-mail to claims@laaw.org. We will forward your claim to all three bodies and the USA and UK governments.

...Events for which you may have a claim :

1. Death of a relative or physical or mental injury, fear or distress or inconvenience, damage or destruction to property, arrest, detention, lack of respect for your privacy or home, lack of access to a court or to education. Other violations or damage.

2. Iraqi laws which are not in conformity with convention obligations and which may affect you - for example discriminatory laws, or disproportionate laws (for example if they allow for the death penalty).
