Washington will deduct an unspecified amount from $9 billion of loan guarantees to Israel, a move apparently in response to the continued construction of Jewish settlements and an apartheid wall.
Sources in the US congress said on Thursday about $220 million could be cut from the loan guarantees to Israel due to settlement growth in the occupied West Bank and Gaza Strip.
