The president loaded us all into the family van, revved the thing up to 70 MPH, and slammed us into a brick wall called Reality.

But frankly, I think it's a good thing. How much worse trouble could we have found ourselves in had Dumb-shuck and the Neoconvicts not brought us up short? Had Gore gotten into office, we may have still been ignorant or unwilling to rock the comfy boat regarding extreme corrpution in our government. The incompetent boobs there now may have inadvertently spared our country from certain demise if we can find it within ourselves to take measures to correct the corruption in our system.
That's a pretty tall order, I know. And as I look around me, I'm not at all sure we're up to it. Too many of us will simply live with it. It's a perfectly good dress after all - just got a little stain on it.
....but hey, do what you want....you will anyway.
Speaking of incompetent boobs - there should be a lot of mileage for parody and cartoons in that interview with the Sun. I can hardly wait.
