World Press Freedom Day

I'm going to try to put together a little bit lengthy post on James Comey and his testimony in the Attorney purge hearing today, but for now, I'll leave this poignant Cursor quote. Links are embedded in the paragraph, so you can read the references over at Cursor.

As World Press Freedom Day finds 'Freedoms deteriorating in once-open countries,' the L.A.P.D. is reported to have used "batons and riot guns against members of the media," who were covering an immigration rights rallmy.
