Head Churl served with lawsuit

Remember Ellen Mariani? She's the woman who didn't sell out over 9/11 and who is filing a lawsuit...

...alleging President Bush and officials, to include but not limited to, Cheney, Ashcroft, Rumsfeld and Feinberg that they:

1. had knowledge/warnings of 911 and failed to warn or take steps to prevent;
2. have been covering up the truth of 911; and
3. have therefore violated the laws of the United States

Well, last Friday, papers were served.

Among those served besides the President, were Vice-President Richard Cheney, Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, Attorney General John Ashcroft, Central Intelligence Agency Director George Tenet, National Security Advisor Dr. Condoleezza Rice, Secretary of Transportation Norman Mineta, 9-11 Congressional Victim Compensation Fund Special Master Kenneth Feinberg, former Iraqi Dictator Saddam Hussein, Zacarias Moussaoui, and former President George H. W. Bush.

According to her lawyer...

"[W]e're currently preparing written interrogatories and subpoenas so that we'll be able to keep the discovery of evidence and multiple investigations moving forward at a reasonable pace."

They won't turn over documents to a Congressional commission, but they're going to give them up to a mere citizen? Pipe that man up another dream. And wish him best of luck, while you're at it. At least he and his client won't be trying to help cover things up because they have something to hide or a congressional seat to hold on to.

[T]he multiple summonses and complaints were filed last week in Philadelphia; and they require an answer within 60 days," adding "we feel confident that we'll be successful, and that the evidence in this case is so strong, it will lead to the end of the Bush presidency."

Well, I sure as hell hope so. I keep remembering what I 'heard': "When you write it, call it the fall of the House of Bush." And I keep waiting for the day I can write it.

I remain skeptical, nonetheless. Not because I think these crooks are not guilty, but because I think they are extreme crooks who will go to any lengths to keep power. And because many in the legal system that should rectify criminal conduct are also crooks.

We'll be watching, though, won't we? Heck, I'll even volunteer my time if Mariani's lawyers can use it.

...but hey, you do what you want...you will anyway...
