President Bush on Thursday ordered an indefinite halt in U.S. troop withdrawals from Iraq after July, embracing the key recommendations of his top war commander. Bush said Gen. David Petraeus will "have all the time he needs" to consider when more American forces could return home.

But, hey, George is not without sympathy for the troops. He’s going to revert the tour length back to the usual 12 months from the increased 15-month tour they’ve been getting. However, that will not begin until August. And it won’t apply to those are already there.
....but hey, do what you want....you will anyway.
