Is the whole world too much to handle?

IRAN CHALLENGES WESTERN AUTHORITY...

Iran reiterated on Sunday that it was not hiding any of its nuclear facilities from UN inspectors andits resumption of work on a key part of the nuclear fuel cycle was not a violation of its commitment to suspend uranium enrichment activities.

"There is no nuclear site that the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is not aware of and that we have hidden from IAEA inspectors," Foreign Ministry spokesman Hamid-Reza Asefi told a press briefing.

International Atomic Energy Agency. Right. Isn't it just a part of the Matrix? After all, the reality is that the agency does not inspect or prohibit the countries already possessing nuclear weapons from having or using them.

Wikipedia lists the countries with known nuclear weapons and the number deployed:

- United States: 10,640
- Russia: 8,600
- People's Republic of China: 400
- France: 350
- United Kingdom: 200
- India: 60-90
- Pakistan: 24-48

Now, that list alone looks gives a pretty decent hint why the Bushites wanted to ignore al Qa'ida (and other "flies") in favor of focusing on the Big Bear and other possible 'state' enemies. The Cold War never really ended. And with Putin rousing the bear from hibernation, and Chavez organizing a socialistic Latin America, the capitalists are bound to be getting a little nervous.

THOSE PESKY SOUTHERNERS...

The U.S. newspaper The Washington Post reports Brazil has refused to allow U.N. nuclear inspectors to examine parts of a facility for enriching uranium being built near Rio de Janeiro.

The newspaper quotes diplomats as saying inspectors with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) have found "significant portions" of the site shielded during recent visits.

How are we ever going to get the world back into order? Everywhere, the tighter we squeeze, the more slip between our fingers. The more authority we try to impose, the more rebellious they become.

Gee. Imagine that.

...hey, do what you want....you will anyway.
