Now They're Thinking

I'm sure they're not losing money. But what a great idea somebody at Hallmark had. I just bought a sympathy card whose envelope is marked "No postage necessary if mailed in the United States. First class mail single piece postage paid by Hallmark, Kansas City, MO." The card cost $3.50, which is probably an average cost for Hallmark cards, and it's a nice card. I wouldn't sweat the cost of a postage stamp, but how convenient is that?

Okay, it doesn't go much distance in making up for the fact that Hallmark keeps foisting "holidays" on the gullible consuming public so they can sell cards, but it's something.
