Ethnic Christian

Why were early reports calling this man an “ethnic” Norwegian?

What ethnicity does he possess exactly?

Breivik's Facebook page suggests he held strong Christian beliefs,

Stop. Right. There. You cannot hold “strong Christian beliefs” and be a mass murderer. I think a little clarification of that statement would be in order.

Police say the suspect is talking to police and was keen to "explain himself".

That should be an eye-opener.

The shooter eventually surrendered to a SWAT team that didn’t arrive until 40 minutes after they were first called. Police Chief Sveinung Sponheim admitted Saturday that police had “problems with transport” to the island since they had difficulty obtaining boats.

I don’t know, maybe there are helicopters in Norway?

On the Facebook page attributed to him, Mr Breivik describes himself as a Christian and a conservative. It listed his interests as hunting, body building and freemasonry.

It’s truly amazing the types of people who “call themselves” Christian.

Rescued campers said the shooter was dressed in a police uniform and coaxed the teenagers to not “be shy,” and to “come play with me,” before he systematically gunned them down.

Dressed as a policeman and telling them to come play with him?

A darker collection of his musings were discovered on various web postings and a YouTube video where he espoused anti-Muslim views and opposition to Norway’s immigration policies. In the video, he appears in costume wearing a faux formal military uniform replete with fake medals, a haz-mat suit and gas mask and a wet suit with a large automatic weapon.

“Time is of the essence. We have only a few decades to consolidate a sufficient level of resistance before our major cities are completely demographically overwhelmed by Muslims.”

I’ve got just three words: Lun A Tic. Which often goes hand-in-hand with Christian fundamentalism.

The man suspected of a gun and bomb attack in Norway has called his deeds atrocious yet necessary, his defence lawyer said.

"He has said that he believed the actions were atrocious, but that in his head they were necessary," defence lawyer Geir Lippestad told TV2 news on Saturday.

Kind of like Abu Ghraib.

Lippestad said his client had said he was willing to explain himself in a court hearing on Monday. The court will decide at the hearing whether to keep the suspect in detention pending trial.

There’s a change they won’t??

....but hey, do what you want....you will anyway.
