Moore v. Disney

Well, they asked for it. Disney refused to make good on their contract to distribute Fahrenheit 9/11 because, they said, they don't do political stuff. But somehow they're managing to distribute a pro-America film from a group that tried to block the release of Moore's film.

Moore's response:

A statement on the director's website reads, "Disney joining forces with the right wing kooks who have come together to attempt to censor Fahrenheit 9/11 must mean that Dumbo is now in charge of the company's strategic decisions.

Personally, I think it's less of a political decision than a financial one. They're trying to recoup some monetary advantage after losing out big time the millions of bucks Moore's film would have brought them, and this would be about the only way to do that - from the anti-Moore moviegoers who will try to make this a bigger seller. You watch. Churches will post notices for all their members to attend.

....but hey, do what you want....you will anyway.
