Creating jobs in Iraq

But not for Iraqis. We're hiring out of work or underpaid members of South America's old death squads. Indeed, we've used them before in our work down South, not to mention spent our money training many, if not all of them. Why not put them to use again?

If José Miguel Pizarro has his way, he will recruit 30,000 Chileans as mercenaries to protect American companies under Pentagon contract to rebuild Iraq. And undoubtedly, within those ranks will be former members of death squads that tortured and murdered civilians when dictatorships ruled in Latin America.

And, U.S. new ambassador to Iraq, John Negroponte should feel a bit more at home with some of his old partners in the country.

....but hey, do what you want....you will anyway.
