What about Saddam?

I mean other than he had connections to al-Qa'ida, because we all know that. But, how's he doing?

Well, the Red Cross has been able to see him all of three times. His attorney, zero. A month after his "capture", a Red Cross report indicated that he was "slightly wounded", and his attorney would like to know how he got slightly wounded a month after capture.

And that paragon of truthfulness and logic, General Bad-people-have-parties-too Kimmitt, says Saddam is being treated with dignity and respect, and yet Saddam "has the gall to complain." That should go over well with the people of Iraq who were supposedly tortured and abused by him. The citizens are being killed, rounded up and tortured, while Saddam is being fed and cared for with dignity and respect. And then Kimmitt says, "He's being treated like any other security detainee according to the Geneva Conventions." So which of those statements is a lie? If he's being treated like any other security detainee, then he's not being treated with dignity and respect, now is he?

Other than that, your guess is as good as mine, since only the Red Cross is permitted to see him, and not very often at that. Plus, they can only show their reports to the U.S. authorities who have control over Saddam. Great system.
