Did Perle actually resign?

From TomPaine.com, The Dreyfuss Report:

So it seems that Richard Perle, the ringleader of the neoconservative foreign policy team, didn't fall. He was pushed.

By Rumsfeld, according to the report.

I don't know who Dreyfuss' "reliable sources" are, but they seem to think the last straw for Perle was his criticism of the DIA. Interestingly, Chalabi appears to be a Perle pal, and I don't think Chalabi is "in like Flynt" any more either after virtually admitting to offering bogus WMD intelligence.

House of cards.
