Alien Ambassador

THE United Nations was set today to appoint an obscure Malaysian astrophysicist to act as Earth’s first contact for any aliens that may come visiting.

Mazlan Othman, the head of the UN's little-known Office for Outer Space Affairs (Unoosa), is to describe her potential new role next week at a scientific conference at the Royal Society’s Kavli conference centre in Buckinghamshire.

Say goodbye to the UN.

I wonder, if aliens come to call, are they going to ask to have an audience with Earth's ambassador when they land?

And I hate to break the news to her, but there are a lot of people who might claim that she will NOT be the first contact.

....but hey, do what you want....you will anyway.
