Newsweek "revelation" wasn't new

Thanks to the internet, once again, Digby has the links that prove the revealing memo about POW status, objected to by Colin Powell, was in media hands a long time ago.

But, back then (January 2002), who cared whether a bunch of terrorist heathens had Geneva rights?
