Iraqi prisoner treatment hearings

Transcripts should come out tomorrow, but at this time, Generals Abizaid, Miller and Sanchez, and Col. Warren (JAG) don't seem to be getting much in the way of difficult questions by the senators.

Abizaid is saying in a variety of ways, "Hey, there's a war going on here. And these people are hideous terrorists who are doing everything they can to develop WMD to aim at the center of our country. Bad guys don't deserve good treatment."

At this point, it seems like just a lot of blah, blah, blah. I have doubts that any great or surprising information is going to come from these career officers.

Inhofe (Reptile-Oklahoma) is using his time to ask if they're going to be hampered by being barred from torturing prisoners.
