Monetary aid to Georgia?

Still can't figure that out. I haven't seen anything. The EU has committed to financial aid. U.S. marines are training Georgian soldiers in "counter-terrorism". But money - I haven't seen it.

Georgia's leaders, describing the desperate state of their temporary government, said the treasury was so empty that they had asked the United States to consider helping pay soldiers' salaries. Satisfying the armed forces is viewed as important to keeping the peace ahead of Jan. 4 elections.

That's in an article about Rumsfiend's visit to Georgia, but there's no indication of a response.

Stay tuned.

....but hey, do what you want....you will anyway.
