Jerklow not giving up yet

Follow-up to the Janklow manslaughter case:

U.S. Rep. Bill Janklow has filed a motion asking for acquittal of a second-degree manslaughter charge or a new trial, the Sioux Falls Argus Leader reported on Saturday.

Prosecutors did not present enough evidence to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Janklow, a South Dakota Republican, is guilty of the felony charge, his lawyer, Ed Evans, argued in a motion filed Thursday with the Moody County Clerk of Courts in Flandreau, South Dakota, the newspaper reported.

I thought that's what juries do.

And do not get me started on juries. I served on one. Hoo boy.

Maru's comments on the Janklow motion:

Accountability is for suckers -
Reboob Rep. 'Wild Bill' Janklow has filed a motion asking for acquittal of a second-degree manslaughter charge or a new trial stemming from an Aug. 16 crash that killed motorcyclist Randy Scott when Janklow, as was his wont, sped through a stop sign.

What a complete waste of O2 that piece of sh*t is. The court should take his motion and his license and shove them both up his a$$.

And Maru reminds me that I had a picture I wanted to share with you, but I forgot - or I got too "negative" and forgot about all the good things in this world.

Wow.

Too bad I can't see that when I look out my window.
