There are a couple of blogs that we turn to everyday to help us understand the world: Salam Pax (and our friend Raed), Riverbend, Danny Schechter, Big Left Outside, Romenesko, Gawker (for all of our Paris Hilton needs). But when it comes to keeping tabs on the neocon revolutionaries, Joshua Micah Marshall's "Talking Points Memo" is the only place to go. Marshall, who also writes for the Washington Monthly , is a rare breed - a DC-insider who avoids cynicism and the obsession with the political horserace that makes up most of the Beltway blather. He's generous with credit for others' ideas, and is forthcoming when he's wrong. Most importantly, he's been way ahead of the game on some of the biggest stories of the day - the Wilson-Plame Affair, Halliburton, bogus WMD intel, and his nemesis Richard Perle, whom he recently faced off against on a panel entitled "Is the Neoconservative Moment Over?" article
I check Josh Marshall regular, myself. You've probably noticed I refer you to his links often enough. A link to his blog is always in the sidebar here at YWA.
