Campaigning with his highest-profile Democratic supporter, President Bush yesterday declared that Saddam Hussein would still be in power in Iraq if Democratic candidate John F. Kerry "had his way."
"When it comes to Iraq, my opponent has had more different positions than all his colleagues in the Senate combined," Bush said at a rally for supporters in Huntington, W.Va., with Senator Zell Miller of Georgia at his side. "One thing about Senator Kerry's position is clear: If he had his way, Saddam Hussein would still be in power, and would still be a threat to the security and to the world."

Now he's campaigning with Zell "Turncoat Spitball Mad Dog" Miller! The Chimp and the Chump on the stump.
And for all you chumps who are willing to buy that B.S., thanks for thinking.
Senator Kerry voted to give Stupid McSneer the power to unilaterally destroy Iraq for no reason beyond imperial design. Just how much more of a threat to security and to the world could Saddam as ruler of one bombed and sanctioned, virtually powerless, but oil-rich country, be than what Drinky McCokehead created by our invasion of that country? A threat to Carlyle's and Halliburton's increased fortunes, perhaps. A threat to imperial control of the entire Middle East, perhaps. A threat to your personal safety? Christ, what patsies Bush supporters are.
I'm sorry to be so critical of people. You have every right to make whatever choice you deem best. But please stop pretending it's because Bush is the guy who can protect you. Bush is the guy who put your head in the noose. Just admit your support of the idiot is because swaggering bravado makes you feel secure - it doesn't make you secure. And admit that you want to bomb the crap out of people you don't understand and are afraid of. And admit that you don't want gay people to have equal rights. And admit that you don't want women to have the right to choose abortion. And admit that you don't want anyone with less than you to be given anything without having to work for it, like you do. At least you're then being honest, and I can respect your right to choose what you prefer. But pretending Bush is going to protect you from the evil out there waiting to snatch away your liberty and your life when he is doing exactly the opposite with your blessing, just makes you look like a chump. Be a selfish xenophobic bigot with honesty. It's better than being an ignorant chump who can't even tell who's doing the screwing.
....but hey, do what you want....you will anyway.
