More on Porter Goss

Billmon has more information on Bush's choice for CIA director.

Now you might think all this would be enough to cause the Senate Democrats to raise a holy stink about Shrub's chutzpah in trying to push a partisan hack into the most sensitive intelligence position in the U.S. government, riding herd over an agency that has already been thoroughly trashed in pursuit of the greater good of keeping the Bush dynasty in power. But you would, of course, be wrong:
