Oh for crying out loud - the turkey won't die

Somebody call a halt to this crap!

The White House yesterday made a third approach in its attempt to land the controversy about whether a plane spotted Air Force One on its secret flight to Baghdad on Thanksgiving Day.

First it was a British Airways flight, then it was a UK flight tower, both stories denied by Britain - so NOW it's a "non-UK" operator who radioed the UK tower to ask if that was Air Force One "behind it". According to the Liar's official Liar, Scott McClellan, the caller had a British accent, so of course it was assumed it was a British pilot. Natch.

The claim about the call at least seems to pan out. But who was the non-UK operator? Hmmm...nobody knows!! Where's the record of that plane that was asking about AF1 being behind it?

It was the effing PR stunt people who made the call, that's who! These people have no shame. How stupid are we?

Don't answer that question.
