Craig Update

Remember how Larry Craig said he was going to resign his office by the end of September if his guilty plea wasn't overturned by then? And remember how that date came and went, and the judgement hadn't come down yet, so he said he'd stick around until it did?

Well, it did. Denied. So he's going to step down, right?

Wrong.

The Senate Ethics Committee hearings ought to be fun. It will distract us from the nightmare that is the Middle East, and maybe it will keep news of the move to invade Iran off the front pages. It's sure to be televised. And you know I'm going to keep you posted. (But don't expect me to watch the hearings. You'll have to do that yourself if you're so inclined.)

The Bush cabal will owe him big.
