As the train pulled away, Edwards gushed: "That was great. That was fun. When they were booing 'hope' and 'optimism,' I knew it was an interesting crowd."
Hey, we are the state that gave the world Rush Limbaugh and John Ashcroft. We are the state that elected a dead man to the Senate. We are the first state in the Union to constitutionally ban gay marriage. Interesting isn't the adjective I would use.
"The Johns" could always do what the Crapper does: ban protestors to a site out of sight and hearing range. (Or could they? Are "free speech zones" an executive privilege?)
