King George nears November

And so, he is forced to consider implementing some of the Worthless Commission's recommendations. He didn't want the Commission in the first place. He stalled providing information to it. He withheld information from it. Now he's going to pick and choose the recommendations he wishes to put in place.

CNN lists some of those he's allegedly considering. A couple things - one of the recommendations he is apparently considering is that of creating an FBI work force of linguists and analysts to focus on national security. I thought we already had that. I thought that's what Sibel Edmonds was hired to do, and was subsequently fired when she blew the whistle on cover-ups and possible terrorist collaborators in the house.

Some of Bush's moves will go beyond the 9/11 commission's recommendations on civil liberties and privacy protections, sources said, and the president will highlight measures he can implement immediately with executive orders.

Is that what they call politicizing our national security? If he could have implemented some measures by executive order that would increase our national security, why hasn't he done so already?

....but hey, do what you want....you will anyway.
