Hugo takes another swipe at Georgie

President Hugo Chavez Frias sent a message of brotherhood to the people of the United States, as well as the US government, “even though they don’t understand us very well…. We’re friends of those people, and since there are elections in November, if (George W.) Bush is re-elected, we hope that his advisers reflect, because we don’t understand why a country such as that, an associate and strategic ally, has been subject to pressure that isn’t convenient for us or them.”

...Chavez added that “if (John) Kerry wins, we expect a new stage of relations to begin between the two governments that will strengthen all of the positive aspects.”
VHeadline article

Either he knows something I don't know about John Kerry, whose stance on Venezuela is as outrageous as the current administration's stance, or he's just taking the opportunity to bash Bush, something he seems to take great pleasure in doing on a regular basis.

Easy target.

....and hey, do what you want....you will anyway.
