Cleverly titled "And No Proofreading" at Dependable Renegade. Or maybe her mind was on the other hot topic in her tightly wound mind: abortion.
I feel certain that these people don't really know what socialism is. And I feel even more certain that they are not all that unhappy about the fact that their employers are legally required to provide health insurance. Or that their children get a public education that comes (virtually) free to them. I've got a sneaking suspicion that they'd actually like the idea of having ownership in the factories that employ them. But what they really, really like, I have not the slightest doubt, is that Medicare pays their parents' medical bills so they don't have to.
It does indeed seem that the "conservative base" is sorely uneducated. At least by the number of pictures from rallies with misspelled signs. I wouldn't want them any other way, though, or there just would be no humor.
....and hey, do what you want....you will anyway.
UPDATE: I felt obligated to find some of those signs. Enjoy.
But this next one is my favorite. Not only misspelled, but misspelled with the possibility of meaning until it runs off into meaninglessness. And the look on his face is priceless. (Pubic option: Click pic to enlarge.)
