i tried to send that asshole hulshof an email about his yes vote on this. his website does not accept any emails without providing name, address and phone number. i was willing to give my name and address and phone number (not mine) but i got this error message:

i was willing to supply the 65203 but i don't know the extra 4 numbers and i'll be damned if i'll look it up. guess he eliminates lots of 'nuisance' emails that way.

ReplyDeletei can tell you by experience that if you had gotten through and received a response, it would have been a canned automatic reply from representative hulshof's machinery restating his religiosity and answering nothing specifically that you might write.
i can also tell you that when i was living there and marching in protest to the invasion of iraq shortly before it actually happened, the marchers went to hulshoff's offices to present objections to the invasion, and he would neither come outside to meet us nor allow us to come inside. instead, he sent an assistant outside with a ledger that we could all sign.
what a stinking coward. he is so not a representative of anything but the republican party.
yes, and he's all pissy now because he wanted to be president of the university and they quickly ruled him out :)
